Belfast Quarters Botanic Central

Great location for Queen’s University, nice clean apartment with communicative host. Positive: Good location just off Botanic Ave, close to transport links, QUB and 20 min walk to city centre. Easy check in and good communication from host. Nicely decorated, clean and well equipped apartment with teabags and milk on arrival. Good bed linen and towels, modern bathroom with toiletries. Negative: Not enough comfortable seating. The property sleeps 8 plus a sofa bed but only seating for 3/4 in lounge and 7 at dining area. The entranceway and access up to the apartment is rather shabby. Be warned there are five flights of stairs in total to reach the main floor of the apartment - may be unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues or lots of heavy luggage.

Positive: Great location, close to train station. Negative: Numbers on access pad difficult to see in the dark. It was raining very heavily when we arrived and there was significant overspill from the gutters directly above the location of the access pad.

Positive: Central location, lots of restaurants nearby. Walking distance to xmas market, shopping centres. Taxi prices were very good. Negative: Outside of the building was not great but apartment was fine. No lift, 4 sets stairs up to apartment then 2 sets internal stairs to bedrooms. Challenging with suitcases.

Close to the centre of belfast, could be improved Positive: the location was good we could walk to the centre. However maybe the area wasn't the best. Negative: The flat inside was nice but could have been cleaner. We could not use the TV as the remote was missing and the couch small for the four bedroom house. The area was ok, no trouble, but there was rubbish outside the entrance, the hallway quite tired and some questionable people storing their ebikes used as internet delivery people that didn't appear to live there.
