Belfast Quarters: 9th Floor Gem!

Positive: Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Appartement. Schöne Aussicht vom Balkon im 9. Stock. Lage vom Bahnhof ideal. Beschreibung zum Einlass großartig, mit Detailfotos. Man konnte nichts falsch machen.

Quiet apartment good for a family of four but a bit over priced for the condition. Positive: The apartment was a good size for our family of 4 adults. The location is transitional but we felt it was still safe. We saw other families in the building too. It was a short walk to the city center to the north and Ulster Museum area to the south. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Belfast. We didn't know the national Irish festival was going to be occuring while we were in town. The apartment was not in the thick of the festival activity so it was quiet. The clothes washer was the newest appliance and worked well. Although it was not a combo washer/dryer, we appreciated the large clothes rack that was provided and we had no trouble drying our clothes either overnight or while we were out during the day. Negative: The beds were horrible. The springs on one of the twin beds were poking the user and the mattress in the on-suite was lumpy and thin so had very little support. Our backs were sore each morning. My husband opted to sleep on the sofa the last 2 nights we were there. The kitchen was usable but not as well stocked as other places we have stayed. We did not have enough utensils for even 1 meal so had to buy some disposable forks. I alerted the property manager so hopefully they have taken care of that for future guests. The dishwasher labels for the controls were mostly rubbed off and the stove was quite old. The oven heat seal was barely hanging on. Its an older building and the floors in the common areas and elevators did not look like they are maintained often enough as they were dirty and stained.
